WTF Is Sir Alex Ferguson Thinking About!

As a Man Utd fan, I'm sorry to say that Fergie is getting senile for his age. Selling Rossi to Villarreal?! Out of 6 strikers, Saha and Solskjaer are both currently injured, Anderson can't be confirmed for this Sunday's Community Shield yet, with Rooney, Smith, and Rossi. Rooney is a definate choice and .

Between Smith and Rossi, who should you sell? I would rather keep Rossi. (Well, anyway, Smith seems to be going too.) Rossi's only 20 years of age, young yet brimming with talent. Maybe like what Dear has said, too much money has been spent, coupled with the "obsession" to get Tevez, players have to be sold to get back some money.

One more of my favorite players moving out of Man Utd... Sigh...

Rossi has not been featured for quite a while already. Actually 20 years old is about the time they step up in first team. If you look at Man Utd track record, by age 20 most of them are already competing regularly on the first team. If a player can't secure a regular spot by 20 or 21, can almost guess what eventual fate will be.

I agree Alan Smith should go... he's plain wasting the wages. Keep Rooney at all costs...

Well, in the past, there were some youth players who only had first team postions at age 22-24. Players like O'Shea, Neville brothers, Beckham.

I think Smith should be sold ahead of Rossi because Rossi can be a huge talent in 2 years time, while Smith is already at his peak, not worth keeping. Another 2 sents worth...

But think about it... MUFC has first option in buying back Rossi if Villarreal decides to let him go... and it will be good exposure for Rossi and by the time he comes back to MUFC, he's a much more experienced player.

That clause is enuff to ensure he comes back to MUFC.

But knowing Fergie, he hardly buys a player he has sold, except for one, the useless Mark Bosnich...

I am sure that clause has a trick of its own. It's very abnormal judging by the previous transfers, we don't really see such a clause in very much of MUFC's sales.

I'm looking forward to Owen Hargreaves though... can't wait to see him in action. Hahahaha!

You are rite, indeed the transfer is abnormal compared to the others. So far, I can't remember which other players were sold with the "first option" clause...

Hargreaves was a damn long wait! Finally we got him! But I think kinda spent too much money on Carrick, whom I dubbed the "invisible man"... Heh...
