Though I'm not a big fan of hers, she has always touched me with her warm smiles, quiet beauty and innocence. Over the weekend, Taiwanese actress, Xu Weilun, had met with an accident on the expressway on her way to a filming location. After struggling for more than a day in the hospital, she reluctunly gave in, shedding tears and having an increased heartbeat whenever she heard people calling her name while in coma.
My first reaction was, why her? Why not that bitch? That bitch I was refering to, was another Taiwanese actress who look a bit like her, but she's a big flirt and a two-timer. Though she looked like Weilun, she's damn ugly, mayb her heart's ugly that's why...
Since Monday, there were reports everywhere. When I watch them on tv, be it a newscast or through an entertainment news program clipping, be it only less then a minute or more than that, my eyes would swell up with tears. Local newspapers also carried reports and there were reports online too. Each and everyone of it definately brought tears to my eyes...
Most heartwrenching and heartbreaking of all was being reminded of another accident, one that also happened on the expressway years ago. It seemed so familiar, accident on the expressway, sent to hospital, fell into coma, swelling of the brain, internal bleeding... Then, he had just released his album and was deemed to be the best, compared to his past albums. But, before he could enjoy the success of his best album so far, he too, reluctunly, gave up the fight days later. He was my fave singer, A*Mei's mentor, Zhang Yu Sheng...
